Summit VetPharm Marketing Team Expands with Two New Staff Appointments
RUTHERFORD, NJ August 6, 2009 - Summit VetPharm announced two new appointments: Mr. Doug Drbal to the position of Director of Marketing and Sebastien Gray, DVM to the position of Product Manager. Mr. Drbal will be responsible for leading the company’s marketing efforts and supporting the sales initiatives while Dr. Gray will manage the marketing of all Vectra® ectoparasiticide products.
Before joining Summit VetPharm, Mr. Drbal held the position of Director of Corporate Accounts at Pfizer Animal Health, where he successfully developed and coordinated the marketing and sales efforts for multi-million dollar accounts. Previous to the experience at Pfizer, Mr. Drbal was the Publisher of DVM News Magazine, Director of Business Development at Merial, Product Manager for Ivomec Cattle and launched Heartgard in the United States. He began his career as a Merck AGVET sales representative in Sioux City, IA. Mr. Drbal graduated from the University of Nebraska and received his Masters of Science from Texas Tech University.
Dr. Gray comes to Summit VetPharm from Ceva Animal Health where he held the position of Technical Marketing Manager for Companion Animals and Equine. At Ceva, Dr. Gray was responsible for global marketing strategies as well as the product launch of Senilife®. Previous to the experience at Ceva, he was a companion animal veterinarian in Paris, France. A native of France, Dr. Gray graduated from the Ecole Nationale Veterinaire (ENVA) in Maisons-Alfort, France and received his Specialized Master in Marketing from the HEC School of Management in Paris.
